First Aid Training for Companies, Groups and Schools
I offer practical and professional first aid courses designed for workplaces, groups and schools that wish to strengthen safety awareness and emergency preparedness. The courses are flexible in both length and content and can be adapted to the specific needs of each group.
The focus is on clear, effective responses in emergency situations, with an emphasis on hands-on practice. Participants gain practical skills and confidence to respond calmly and correctly when it matters most.
I have been an active member of the Reykjavík Search and Rescue Team since 2011, where I have served as a medical team leader and have been closely involved in training new members. I am trained as a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) and an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), providing me with a strong professional foundation in emergency care and rescue medicine.
For the past three years, my main work has been teaching first aid for the Icelandic Red Cross and ICE-SAR (Landsbjörg).
I now also offer courses independently. All training is based on the educational standards and guidelines of the Icelandic Red Cross, with a strong emphasis on practical skills, safety and simple, effective methods that work under real-life pressure.
Courses can be held at your location at a time that suits you — during weekdays, evenings or weekends. All that is required is access to a screen or projector with sound for presentations. Training is available in Icelandic or English.
