This in-depth course is designed for anyone who wishes to gain thorough knowledge and practical competence in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). It is well suited for members of the public, volunteers, students and staff who want to take sufficient time to learn how to respond correctly and calmly in serious emergencies and accident situations.

Age requirement
Participants must be 14 years or older.
Assessment
Performance is assessed continuously throughout the course. Participants may choose to complete a written or practical assessment at the end of the training, but this is optional.
Certification
Participants receive a certificate of attendance. Refresher training is recommended every two years to maintain competence, confidence and safety.
